The Franklin Food Bank is member agency of the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, which is a member of Feeding America, the nation’s largest network of Food Banks.

We also partner with local food pantries. There are times when we have an abundance of a particular item and we’ll contact local, smaller food pantries to see if they have a need. We all want to make sure that no food goes to waste.

The Food Bank also maintains excellent relations with Grow-a-Row, Farmers Against Hunger, and local farmers to deliver our clients fresh produce. We even partner with home gardeners who might have a crop that is too much for their family so they share it with our clients.

We also welcome calls from trucking companies who have food that might have been refused due to a problem with the pallet or packaging. Provided the food has maintained safe food conditions and is not expired, we will accept it and provide a receipt.
