Volunteering is the ultimate exercise in democracy.
You vote in elections once a year, but when you volunteer,
you vote every day about the kind of community you want to live in.
We love our volunteers! Without them we wouldn’t be able to get done all that we do. Our volunteers help in so many ways – food drives, sorting food, picking up donations, bagging groceries, helping our clients in our lobby, helping out at events, serving on our committees and Advisory Board, and even helping with back office operations. Volunteers provide a wealth of talent.
People volunteer for many reasons but mostly it is because they want to make a difference and help others. If you need community service hours for school, graduation, or civic organizations OR you want to add to your resume with new experience OR you just want to help out, please do not hesitate to fill out our volunteer application.2014(2).
